This online wānanga provides opportunities to deepen your understanding of Tihei-Wa Mauri Ora in practice. Facilitated application of the indigenous model and resources will enable participants to experience how to utilise Tihei-Wa Mauri Ora in their practice.
We invite you to join us in these wānanga about Tihei-Wa Mauri Ora, a Māori model of practice. This wānanga series is for kaimahi Māori working in the mental health and addiction sector. Tihei-Wa Mauri Ora can be utilised when working with whānau, within your organisation, and within the health system. Indigenous resources developed for Tihei-Wa Mauri Ora will be presented in the wānanga led by Teina Piripi and co-facilitated by Terri Cassidy, Te Rau Ora.
Participants must attend Tihei-Wa Mauri Ora first before attending wānanga 2 and/or 3.
